Senglea Priest who made Honor to Senglea

Senglea has been renowned for the good number of priests and professionals who were born here. Even the Collegiate always had a Chapter with a good number of Canons all from Senglea. Many were the priests and Canons who made a name for themselves during the twentieth century. It is fitting that we pay tribute to some of them and thank them for all they have done to honor Senglea, the city of their birth.

Naturally, apart
from the personalities we featured there are others who also deserved to
be mentioned such as: Can Dun Frangisk Marendo, Can
Dun Gwann DeDomenico, Canon Dun Goffred Lubrano, Canon Dun Frangisk
Abela and Canon Dun Arturo Bonnici who even through made a good
name for themselves and for Senglea could not be featured in this series
because of the great amount of material it needs to insert. It is
obvious that we all can learn from past events. From the above writing
one can see how much our forefathers loved their city of
